Telemedicine at Clancy Medical Group
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Clancy Medical Group started offering virtual healthcare. The practice of telemedicine, also known as telehealth, allows patients to schedule an online consultation with our staff. You can get in touch with Dr. John Clancy, Dr. Tara Clancy, and family nurse practitioner Shannon Baker conveniently through the patient portal or by calling the office. Similarly, you can use the links below to enter the waiting room.
Telemedicine provides a range of benefits to both patients and staff, as it helps reduce exposure to the Coronavirus or other pathogens. The practice offers a convenient way to get in touch with our experienced team and get a professional medical consultation. It is a HIPAA-compliant service, as all e-visits go through a secure portal. You’ll be glad to know that most insurers, including Medicare, now cover Telemedicine services. Similarly, there is nothing to download, and you can access the portal through your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Once connected, you can enjoy your consultation with Dr. Clancy from the comfort and safety of your own home.
If you want more information or to schedule an appointment, call our office at 760-305-1900.

Our Philosophy
A cornerstone of our philosophy is taking a holistic approach to medical care. To effectively heal and maintain optimum health and wellness, we at Clancy Medical Group believe it is vital to embrace the whole person—along with their family—by treating both the body and mind. To that end, we also encourage patients to live a healthier lifestyle through diet and exercise programs, which prove vital for remaining independent as we grow older.
Most patients lack knowledge about diet and exercise as it pertains to their specific condition. For this reason, we draw from the relevant literature and distill information in a way that is easy to follow. We teach our patients about beneficial lifestyle changes that effectively ameliorate numerous health conditions. Where necessary, we prescribe medication, which we use as a tool.

Working with results from a single laboratory ensures consistency in the use of reagents, which allows for more accurate observation of diagnosis-treatment-outcome. Overall, it makes the diagnostic process much more reliable.
The tests we perform on-site include:
- Blood draws
- Urinalysis
- Throat cultures
Our lab is open Monday through Friday until 4:00 PM.
What Our Patients Have to Say
Treating Chronic Conditions
According to statistics by the CDC, nearly one in ten Americans has diabetes. Similarly, numbers show that 47% of American adults live with hypertension. Like many other chronic ailments, these conditions depend on timely diagnosis, regular and ongoing consultations, and holistic treatment programs.
Our goal at Clancy Medical Group is to address these conditions through active collaboration. We investigate the root cause, suggest lifestyle changes, and, where appropriate, strategically use medication to return individuals to optimal health. Sometimes, patients can have the same biomedical markers yet require a vastly different treatment approach. Our extensive experience and expertise ensure that you get a personalized assessment and receive the best care possible.
Similarly, chronic ailments often require quick access to medical assessment and advice. For this reason, we offer telemedicine services that get you in touch with any member of our team for a quick and detailed consultation. They provide much-needed reassurance between follow-up visits, and some patients rely on them as their preferred option.
