Lissande Laverty, PA-C
Lissande Laverty is a board-certified Physician Assistant and native San Diegan. She was a Dean’s list student at Gonzaga University, double majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. She gained her primary medical experience in San Diego as an ambulance and emergency department EMT. Lissande also served as a Behavior Technician for children with Autism, and as a Surgical Services Aid with Fresh Start at Rady Children’s Hospital. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Utah, ranked 4th for PA programs in the United States. Lissande focuses on preventive medicine for a wide range of medical issues, managing illness and chronic conditions with compassion. She is passionate about incorporating osteopathic care into her practice, building long-term, trusting relationships with her patients. Lissande strives to address all aspects of a patient’s health, including the physical, psychological, and social. Ultimately, she believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle through prevention, health maintenance, and patient education.
In her spare time, Lissande enjoys volunteering with her local community, yoga,
photography, tennis, and spending time with her family and two cats.
